Because there is a high level of COVID-19 transmission in Lake County, library services are being adjusted for community safety. When you stop by, please do your part by wearing a mask and keeping your visit short. For longer stays, visit the Library Garden Study Space, where you'll find outdoor seating, tables, shade tents, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

• Limited in-person help: ask at the desk or call 224-543-1485 (adult) or 224-543-1486 (youth)

• Request books, movies, and other library materials, selecting the drive-up window as your pickup point. You'll be notified when they're ready for you.
• Stream & download, 24/7. Get e-books, audiobooks, comics, magazines, newspapers, movies, documentaries, and TV shows.
• Call, text, chat, or email with an information professional.
• Online research & learning
• Online events
• Homebound delivery service to local senior centers and those who are permanently or temporarily unable to visit the library due to disability or chronic illness.
