Copy and Scan

The Copy Center is located just past the Checkout Desk. 

Copying is done through a scan to print process on self-service scanners. 

To pay for copies, faxes, or printing, follow the on-screen prompts. Pay station accepts coins, dollars, credit cards, and contactless payment.

The self-service scanners at the library are high-speed and easy to use. There are two stations: one in the Copy Center, just past the Checkout Desk; the other near the adult public computers, across from the reference desk.

It is free to scan and save to email, Google Drive, Dropbox, your smartphone or tablet, or your USB drive. The Scan Stations can also translate scanned documents to another language in text or audio format.

The flatbed scanners fit originals up to 11"x17". The sheet-fed scanners accept 8.5"x11" or 8.5"x14" originals. Both scanner types print on 8.5"x11", 8.5"x14" or 11"x17" paper.

All print options below may use 8.5"x11", "8.5x14", or 11"x17" paper.

Remote Printing 

Send a file from your phone or computer to the printer at the library, then visit to pay and pick up. Note: files  that are not retrieved within 24 hours are deleted.

Printing from Your Phone or Tablet

There are two ways to print from your phone or tablet: via the ePRINTIt app or via email.

Using the ePRINTit Public Print Locations app:

1. Download the app: Apple | Google Play
2. Follow in-app instructions.
3. Head to the pay station at the library Copy Center to release and pay for your print job. Pay station accepts coins, dollars, credit cards, and contactless payment.

Printing from Your Own Laptop

There are two ways to print from your laptop: using web printing or by email.

• For web printing, follow these instructions.
• To print by email, follow the instructions below.

Printing by Email

1. Forward the email you want to print (even those with attachments) to 

• Black & white printing: [email protected]
• ​Color printing: [email protected]

You will receive a confirmation email for each forwarded message.

2. Head to the pay station at the library Copy Center to release and pay for your print job. Pay station accepts coins, dollars, credit cards, and contactless payment.

3. Collect your documents from the printer.

Printing from a Library Computer

1. On a public PC, Mac, or laptop, display the page/s you wish to print (open the file, email, or web page).
2. From the File menu, select Print -or- use the keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl-P (PC) or Cmd-P (Mac); this will open a print dialog box.
3. In the print dialog box, select the printer: Public_BW for black & white printouts or Public_Color for color printouts.
4. Select the Print button.
5. When prompted, input a job name to identify your job at the Print Release Station.
6. At the Print Release Station, enter your job name (the ID you gave it in step 5), then select Print.
7. You will be prompted to pay. Pay station accepts coins, dollars, credit cards, and contactless payment.
8. Collect your documents from the printer.
