Summer Library Club 2023
June 1–July 31
This year's summer reading program is more flexible than ever. Just pick up a checklist and complete activities you choose at whatever pace you prefer. The program provides a challenge, a small amount of structure, and a good number of ideas of things to do or try – what you do is up to you!
Qualifying activities include reading (of course!), watching a movie, crafts, outdoor activities, and more. Complete half the list for a "halfway" prize. Complete them all for a finisher prize and raffle entry. (Bonus rounds may be available for some age groups; ask at the desk.) Visit the library to pick up an activity log starting June 1. |
Summer Library Celebration
Celebrate the start of summer with treats from an ice cream truck (while supplies last) and outdoor live music from the Old Town School of Folk Music. Express yourself through art projects. Explore the library with a scavenger hunt. Stop by tables from local garden and conservation groups, Gratitude Generation and Reading Power. Meet the new Library Foundation Board. While you are here, pick up a Summer Library Club log — or claim your first reward if you’re ready! Drop in between 1 and 3 pm. No signup required.
