The library offers a free online citizenship class through a partnership with HIAS. The course is 12 weeks long and typically starts in January. Students prepare for the citizenship test in a small, online group. Content includes American history, civics, speaking, and reading and writing in English. Mundelein High School Adult Education
Free in-person citizenship classes are offered through Mundelein High School Adult Education to prepare eligible legal permanent residents for the US naturalization process. For more information, call 847-949-2200 ext. 1399.
