Loan Limits and Loan Periods

Limits:
VAPLD cardholders may check out up to 75 items.  Out-of-District patrons, may check out two audio-visual items per day, including videos, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, cassettes or audiobooks with a maximum of eight print items per day.

Loan Periods:
The basic loan period is 3 weeks with some exceptions:

*Interlibrary Loans are materials that are loaned from other libraries. These items have a due date according to the lending library's loan period and cannot be renewed. Items on hold for another patron may not be renewed.
