While we all love sitting down with a printed book, there are so many online options these days that make reading and sharing books even more fun!  The library subscribes to two animated, online e-books services for kids: Tumblebooks and BookFlix.   One of the value-adds of Bookflix is that it pairs similar fiction and non-fiction books.  So if you are reading Curious George, you'll also have a chance to read a true fact book about monkeys!  You can use Tumblebooks and Bookflix in the library or at home if you have a Vernon Area Public Library card.

   Did you know that you can also download e-books and e-audiobooks to your computer, mp3 player, iPad / iPhone, Nook or Kindle? MyMediaMall has books for kids and adults. You can access all of these resources through our Books and Reading page using your Vernon Area Public Library card.
