The highlights below represent e-books that are available to Vernon Area Library cardholders on an expedited basis under the "Advantage" program. To view or download Advantage e-books, you'll need to first log in to MyMediaMall by OverDrive with your Vernon Area Library card. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number. 

Even if the holds list appears long, as a Vernon Area Library cardholder, you will jump to the front of the line (or close to it), thanks to extra copies we have purchased exclusively for our patrons. The newest Advantage titles added to our catalog include:

Access the Library on your smart phone PDF Print

LIBRARY INFO. A smartphone application and mobile website allow patrons of the Vernon Area Public Library to find books, DVDs, and other items using their Web-enabled mobile phone. The mobile website and its companion app provide quick access to search the catalog, place items on hold, renew checked-out items, or find upcoming events, register for library classes, or even contact a librarian. The mobile website is located at http://m.vapld.info and works on any Web-enabled phone. iPhone and Android users can download the app by searching for “LibraryAnywhere” in the iTunes App store or Google Play.

DIGITAL LIBRARY CARD. Carry your library card on your phone instead of in your wallet when you install CardStar. Available for iPhone and Android devices, CardStar allows you to store your library card barcode (and other loyalty and membership cards, too) right on your phone. Download the free app from App Store or Google Play right on your phone. E-BOOKS. Read and listen to e-books & audiobooks on the go or at home with OverDrive Media Console. The app is available for every major desktop and mobile platform, including Windows, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android phones and tablets, Kindle, NOOK, Windows 8 PC and tablet, Blackberry and Windows Phone. EASY-TO-USE e-BOOKS PLATFORM. The 3M Cloud Library offers an easy, no-hassle approach to e-book access. Simply download the 3M Cloud Library app at http://ebook.3M.com or the iTunes Store, Google Play, or the NOOK Apps Storefront. Note: at this time, the 3M Cloud Library is not available on Kindle e-ink e-readers.

Nearby Tax Aide Locations PDF Print

We have been informed by AARP that they are short on trained staff and will be unable to provide tax counseling at the Vernon Area Public Library this year.

Winter Reading Club Celebration PDF Print
