Loan Limits and Loan Periods

Limits:
There are currently no limits on borrowing for VAPLD cardholders with some exceptions for school assignments, holiday items and Interlibrary loans. Non-residents may check out two audio-visual items per day, including videos, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, cassettes or audiobooks with a maximum of eight print items per day.

Loan Periods:
The basic loan period is 3 weeks with some exceptions:

Items on hold for another patron may not be renewed. *Interlibrary Loans are materials that are loaned from other libraries. These items have a due date according to the lending library's loan period.
